Hi, my name is Bart and I have been married to my beautiful wife Terri Jo for about 27 years. We have three adult children and 8 grandchildren. We both grew up in the beautiful state of Utah. I’m more of the out in the country boy from Payson and my wife was from uptown Orem. At least it used to be that way when we grew up there in the 60’s and 70’s. We both grew up in and around Mormonism. It was so predominate in Utah County. Both of our families had a mix of active and non active Mormons with a few who didn’t believe it at all. My wife’s ancestors were converts to Mormonism from Denmark and came over to the states to be with Brigham Young and the group settling into Utah.
God worked in both of our lives in different ways to show us who He is and to draw us to Himself, and that resulted in our inability to remain a member of the LDS church, that was some 35 years ago. We have raised our children in the biblical knowledge and faith in salvation in Jesus Christ alone. But a lot of our family have remained LDS or have come away disillusioned about who God is and are now agnostic. Our hearts break for them and desire to reach them and others like them with the truth of who the biblical Jesus is. How great God is and how to come into this walk and relationship with Him by His grace. It is so freeing and liberating to really become born again.
